Finally got around to priming the rear dampers properly this afternoon. It didn't make any difference. It's still noisy, sounds like the damper valves are fluttering on the compression and rebound.

I'll have to talk to Dragan again on monday. I don't see it as much of a problem, as last time he said if there's an issue, just send them back and he'll replace them no problems.

On a much happier note, i pulled the rear mud flaps off yesterday. I got sick of them dragging going up steep driveways. This made the back look like it was sitting a little high, so while i had it on the hoist, i dropped the bum back down to the lowest position. I'm much happier with the stance now. I think it looked a little too high in the back before, even with the mudflaps still on it.

I'm also interested to see how the fuel economy goes on the trip to sydney this sunday, with the new chip i've installed. I'm undecided at the moment, but around town it seems atleast as good, if not a little better. I've also noticed that it seems to have more go when it's dead cold in the morning.

Update on the fuel economy after the cruise...

4.7L/100km Down there and 4.8L/100km back!!!

With an average for the whole day of 5.1, which included about 100 k's of beating the balls off it, so to speak.

Very VERY happy with this new chip.

Also, very happy with the way it handled, and rode the bumps. Very settled. Although i need to take just a touch of rebound out of the rear to get a bit more weight transfer on the nose mid corner. It's just got that little bit of push that requires a lift off or a dab of the brakes to get the weight on the loaded tyre. But all in all, fantastic.

    I think i shocked a few people..

I must say I'm sure there were a few eye brows raised with the cadys performance! I sat at the back and just laughed.

Guess what i scored today.... FOR FREE!!

Oh yes. Porsche 911 BBS mesh wheels. 15x7 for the front and 16x7 for the back.. With the oldschool pressed metal centrecaps and exposed studs.

Yes, i'm putting them on the Caddy, No, you can't touch them.

I'll need to make adapters (Porsche is 5x130), so it won't be happening straight away, but i'll keep you posted..
