    Smile Hello, Newby

    Hi All,

I have just taken delivery of a new Caddy Life diesel with DSG.

It's the most weirdest, ordinary looking vehicle. I just love the versatility of it, plus it handles really well. I like the unusual, so it suits me.

Yesterday I went through the Kangaroo Valley, Southern Highlands of NSW, where the Caddy was fantastic. The body did not roll, as long as you keep the revs up, using Sports mode and Tiptronic, the engine really kept you hammering along.

    Anyway,

Just wondering where I can get a set of car mats to suit it? McGraths at Liverpool said that the mats are $246. The issue is that the accelerator pedal is attached to the floor (I don't know if this is the norm for other VW models) but aftermarket mats, simply wont fit.

    Regards
    CaddyShack

I just had a quote drawn up last week for a Caddy Life/Camper
one of the factory items listed are the rubber floor mats @ $100.. but that was just the two front mats.

    Thanks guys,

Still very impressed with the Caddy. It is actually getting better, ie quicker etc. I've nearly done 2500 km over the 2 weeks and am finding the engine is getting better.

Yeah the mats are still a problem, the aftermarket ones, simply don't fit, even if you cut along the cut lines.

Everyone looks at the Caddy. Just driving along, people look at it. When I rock into my customers carparks, the customers all want to have a look at it, and the general public bail me up and want to know what it is etc. I will have to keep it clean, as they all want to see and sit inside it

I still maintain that it is the most ordinary, bordering on ugly, car, but man is it versatile and goea fantastic

When the windows get tinted this month, I'll post a picture.

Yeah, we had a demo (the camper) for a couple of days .. and I'd have to say that it's an ugly car ... but for functionality it's a 5 out of 5
