I'm pretty certain it's in the front screen.
If the windscreen's been replaced, the chances are the windscreen fitter has broken the connector.
I know this sounds a bit mental but I have just taken ownership of a 2007 model and the radio isnt working properly.....I.e poor reception and can only get one crackly station.....
Where is the aerial????? Nowhere on the car....I know some cars in the uk have it in the rear heated window....
Can anyone shed any light for me?
Cheers

Volkswagen dealer.
Hopefully the repair doesn't require a new windscreen.

Unfortunately, this IS as good as it gets.
I have a MY11 Caddy Maxi Life and the performance of the radio is absolutely pathetic. I asked the dealer to check it at the 5000 km courtesy service and then again at the 15,000 km service, and on both occasions the report came back that everything is as designed and this is standard for the vehicle.
The aerial is supposed to be uilt into the screen.
I am in Blacktown and it looks like ABC radio (702) has done something to their transmission recently because now I get crackles where just days ago there was no issue at all.
Makes you wonder. After all, car radios have had aerials for decades but suddenly it is an absolutely hi-tech item that doesn't work! How much does a radio unit cost?
