Suspension recommendation
I have a 2017 Amarok 2.0 4x2 that’s making some noise in (maybe) suspension when there’s load in the cabin and tray. I’ve had 3 different comments on what the problem is. Paddlers say I need new suspension, my usual workshop Wolfsburg says nothings wrong and suspension workshop down the road says nothing wrong but some bushes could need replacing.
Noise is normally when turning a bend when lots of load in the vehicle, not at high speed. Like a creaking sound and a general thud. It was given to me with some big all terrain wheels/tyres on it.
Anybody have any suggestions what it could be?
I was going to sell it as I don’t need the large vehicle anymore but seeing that I don’t owe any money on it might just keep it and try and make some time to get out of town in it. I would like to maybe upgrade the suspension so that I get a better on road feel for it. I don’t go off road more than a dirt track. Anybody have some suggestions on some suspension replacement that doesn’t cost that much?
TIA

Most suspension will be geared towards off road for these cars. Granted I have a lift, but the bilsteins I have are pretty good. I think the noises you suggest are bush related. You could probably just leave the rear leaves, replace shocks and front struts to be a bit more economical but maybe check the push option too.
These bushes are generally pretty good quality

Thanks. Will go back to Heasmans and get the bushes done and look at options you mentioned.
