The dual cab would be a great addition as a family workhorse.
The problem is that the interior of the Tig is quite nice where as the Amarok seems to have gone cheap and heavy duty =/= comfortable.

Agree with Sharkie about the 2.0TSI + APR bits.
    Especially in a 4Mo version.

Got a lot of clearance which is good for the off-road use.
Also can imagine how sick a bagged out one would look.

They're making the right move engine wise. Petrol is pointless in the light commercial market now, I'm surprised they're even going to bother with the 2.0TSI, I doubt we'll sell many.

In all honesty why would you want to modify something with leaf springs and rear drum brakes?
IMO dual cab utes aimed at the "family" market should have rear coils (live axle) and discs.

    I don't want to race it ...

I just want it to go as well as its competitors .... a 120kw/300NM (2.0TSI specs) engine is not going to cut it against the 175kw/343NM of the Hilux or the 198kw/385NM of the Navara ......

I will need at least 190kw/400NM out of the Amarok to be happy enough to send my money towards it ....

And the diesel has no attaction for me, as I will be the main driver. My previous 2 DualCabs were a V6 Rodeo which I enjoyed and a TDI Triton which I loathed ...
