ARB Canopy, don’t let ARB to install it.

I’ve had Ascent canopy fitted last week by an ARB shop and just as good that I didn’t have time to instal the ARB drawers I purchased on the day they were fitting the canopy to my Amarok. Why? We had a bit of rain recently and to my surprise I found a big puddle in the tray, it kind of defeats the purpose of having the canopy if your cargo gets soaked when raining.

I’m completely disgusted by ARB lack of care, it’s not that hard to select quality sealant, educate your workers and supervise if you have to, but using the cheapest clear silicon sealant available, guarantee you a bad job. Also, it is a telltale sign of bad workmanship and bad quality.

Paying premium price for what appears to be well made canopy only to be let down by people who don’t care makes me really angry and I for sure will never get anything fitted by ARB again.
