Using either the key or a regular flat tip screwdriver, turn the locking screw 900
and pop the tab out
Locate the securing bolts.
Hex key required to remove the bolts pre-installed in the roof track
Remove factory bolt with hex key and insert the securing bolt into the thread.
Washer goes below nut, rubber side down.
A ring spanner applied to top of hex key reduces the risk of scratching.
Bolt goes in about 35mm
Remove the lock
tighten bolt
Open doors to get access, even if you do have running boards
Undo the ratchet bolts at least 5 full turns.
This plastic insert slots into the rack

and clicks into place.
Fit the rubber boots
Racks go on with blunt edge leading. If there's not enough thread to bolt onto, raise the threaded rod until you have about 10mm above mount.
Those Pro Racks are the best. No noise, no turbulence, quick release and something like $140 delivered. That's about a $350 saving on Rhino and Thule and I don't think any of their products can match the thin, aerodynamic profile of these, though the Rhino's make a wing version now that comes close but they are still $400 -500 for a set.
I had some Rhino/Thule track mounted bars mounted on the rear but it was impossible to get something in an 85mm lift for that. 120mm is the standard mount. There was some interference with the canopy spoiler for a while, but sorted that out by moving racks forward. Even at urban speeds, the buffeting was noticeable.

2/3 thread above nut, 1/3 below
With about 8-10mm thread above mount, fit securing nuts.
Fit nut
Tighten with plastic spanner provided.
Set the racks so that you have approx the same number of notches on either side, then tighten ratchet with hex key.
Fit the locks. If locks don't fit, remove the blue plastic spanners that came with the kit.
