2016 Amarok Core air conditioning doesn't cool

    Hi all,

Just recently my AC stopped cooling. This is the Core 4x4 model so it does not have full climate control, just simple AC.
I have checked the ODB2 interface and it does not show any errors so I am guessing that the sensors are OK.
I have recently changed the cabin filter.
The 4 speed fan control works.
The vent selection (dash, feet, face, feet & dash) works.
The centre A/C pushbutton turns on and off but it doesn't get cold.

I recall reading somewhere that when the centre A/C button is pressed it should make a relay clicking sound. Mine is not making any relay sound. Can anybody confirm that a relay is audible when the A/C is turned on?

If this is the case, can anybody point me to the relay?

using: Fuse box diagram Volkswagen Amarok and relay with assignment and location
    I have checked fuse #2 and #15

    Any suggestions.

    Thanks

Check if the AC compressor is kicking in, pop the hood a check the clutch on the pulley is spinning.
You can get a AC shop or mechanic to put refrigerant gauges on to to check the system pressures
