Ok Small update guys on the lil old red (umm err maroon)... Anyway I should be getting it either back today or tomorrow from the mechanic who has got it running like new. It pretty much needed a clean and changed, which has been done

So I will find out today what the damage is, after that I have a few things that I want to get done to the car, I have also sourced some 175/50/13s for tyres which I will be changing on the car when done.

I also have some new headlights and a gear shift linkage kit that I will be putting on the car to get that wobble when changing the gears out lol

Yes Jarred of course just waiting on to here about some coilovers from overseas which I can get landed cheaper than chips which are brand new

Friday I got the all clear and all the paper work got sorted.

Long story is that the mk1 hasn't been registered in 3 years.... So the RTA were like umm,,errr wait I need to pull my finger out of my arse to do work.

Then Green slips farrrrrrk me ring up AAMI and go I have a VW golf cabrio GTI and its a import, well that sent off sirens lol after fart assing around I got it Saturday I went to the RTA and got the car registered took "Royal" the guy behind the counter 45 mins to do cause he culdn't find the VIN in the database thats all I needed lol.

Anyway shes registered and purring Will add pics tomorrow for sure, I am still looking at getting some sought of drop even if its just springs and shock combo other than that she is staying standard!

Going to see Loon tomorrow about a few things but other than that shes all good

dont even worry about spring/shock combo, if u aint really fussed, just cut 2 coils, still rides the same and lowers the car

Cheers bro I might I need to change the current ones cause there really stiff but I think it could be the strut mounts.
