YES!!! I bought a mk1

So yesterday I dropped off the mk1 to Matts in the morning where I was greeted by Shannon and given keys to a Cordoba.

During this time I got new lowered springs, strut top mounts and a wheel alignment

Car sits about 30 mm lower than what it did and can I tell you what a difference the car makes in handling and driving, new strut top mounts don't make the car feel like they are going to fall apart lol. Now I think my handling is pretty top notch with Koni adjustables shocks, new springs and sway bars, Im quite chuffed right now!



I think I may cut 1 or 2 coils out though to make it look a little lower.

Then last night I decided to move cut a few wires and fix a few things, I'll let some pics do the talking :



I redid the lower dash it was coming undone so I stripped the glue and redid it with adhesive spray and hot glue in small amounts worked quite well.



Fixed the ashtray (not that anyone will be smoking in the car but I thought I may as well lol)



Stupid ****ing alarm this is the pager system from cobra lol.





That air con system will get removed soon waste of weight and space!



Managed to find my system harness so I basically tidied it up and taped it for when I get a cassette player installed.



New spakers that will fill the wholes th old ones where kenwoods whoever the new ones are sanui's (I had them lying around in the garage I don't care!)

HAHAAHAH, your approval face is very disceiving!! all too wicked though im getting slightly concerned about the vr's condition this is part the reason why i sold the jetta because i was badly side tracked!!
