To wreck or not to wreck??

I scored this 76 LS 4 door for the right price, $0. It has a great motor and gearbox and is straight as an arrow. The only problem is serious rust in the passenger side floor pan and around the windscreen and that its not diesel. Heres some pics to give you the idea

Id already removed the bumpers when i took these photos.
My plan is to remove the doors, guards and bonnet and fit them to my diesel that has a dent in every panel but a good rust free chassis. Both the 76LS and my 78 GLD have the same hinges but different door latches. Is this going to be a problem??
Does anyone want anything off this car before it goes to the VW graveyard or do you recommend a stay of execution?
If wrecked, motor and gearbox are already taken by a local fanatic.
    Thanks guys
    Matt

Th rust in the floor doesn`t look that bad and its a swallowtail.
I`ll buy the rear beaver if you wreck it and if you chop it out for me.

    Rust

Mate.. If the floors and other structural parts are in as poor a condition as I suspect, don't try to save it. It'll be a bottomless pit for your $$s. Salvage anything that you can use (the door fittings are OK for a swap) and flog anything you don't want or need to finance your diesel.

As my bonnet is good, the red swallow tail bonnet is available

dump that rust bucket! definatly keep that smoothie hood, they are rare in prime condition. that chrome stip below the doors can also be nice if it is straight. keep the cluster and fusebox as they are good in a pair (esp if cluster is clean) not to mention all those random plastic clips that are still on original cars! cut that swallowtail rear off too if you are really commited..

the earlier model doors had these latches that are smaller than late..so you can put early doors on later but not late doors on early as the pillar isnt noched out enough.

Heres my latest aquisition on its way to the golf graveyard.
Sorry loon, i didnt remove the rear panel. It would have cost heaps to ship to sydney making it uneconomical.
