Thermo time switch

Pulled off the plug on the warm up reg and cold start injector so I could fix up the wiring cause it was nasty! So nasty that I dont know how it all is meant to be hooked up.
So the cold start injector plug only has 2 wires coming from it, 1 was to earth and the other to nothing. The one on the warm up reg also has 1 earth wire, a wire to the starter motor and another wire that ends in a plug thats been taped up and goes nowhere. So basically, my question is, whats the cold start injector wiring originally meant to be hooked up to?

Ah yes thats what I needed. Just 1 more question. I got a 16v in my mk1 golf. Would anyone know where the temp sensor and the aux air valve would be?
IIRC, mk1 never has 16v k-jet. Is yours retrofitted with Mk2 16v k-jet setup ?
post up your engine bay pic, then some one may be able to spot it.

Temp sensor as in the Thermo time switch ?? it goes on the dizzy end of the head.
Aux air reg ?? , from memory the 16V's use the Idle stabilising valve set up ( definately on the US CIS-E models, not sure about the early european cars tho ). My factory 50 mm Scirocco manifold has the lug cast in for the aux air valve but it was never machined.
Lots of MK 1 Scirocco's...
If it aint a MK 1 then it must be a donor car ??
Cheers,
Grant...
