should be fine
hey guys tried search for offset with no real luck for this sized rim its 15x6 4x100 with 45 offset willt hey fit with any rubbing issues?
cheers guys
hi mate thanks for the reply,. ive noticed ppl are running 35 offsets for the vw, for the 45 wont cause any clearence issues or anything like that?
Thanks
I know that 16v polo mags (which i thought were 42 offset) didn't fit my mk 1 because the spokes did not clear the calipers, but i had gti brakes (ventilated). I think it depends on the mag design etc, but would prob be ok if you had stock brakes...they will just make your golf look like it is riding on a set of roller skates......
standard offset with steel wheels is +38. it depends on the wheel, like the guys have said. you might need spacers though really, there isnt all that much clearance between the inner rim and the strut.

mate as long as it clears the strut u all good if it touches the brake it might be a problem but depending how much it catches the brake by i have taken an angle grinder before and ground down the extra bit on the brake caliper before to make 5/100 porche replica`s fit as well as audi tt compitions both in 17inch yod do get a 5mm spacer as well that can work
