I'm enjoying this so far - the face pics were a shock. That's one hell of a way to think about safety first from here on I guess!
It's good to have a goal - sounds like it will be a solid build.

Can bags (did I read that you have those in your mk5?) be engineered to be road legal?

What apprenticeship pays $1000/week? I'm in the wrong game if that's what apprentices get these days.....what happened to earning almost nothing as an apprentice?

Anyway, nice starting point and ideas, good luck with it all!!

Hah yeh I'm specialised industrial electrician! Boss gets a lot so pays us a lot too

Sure beats when i was doing my apprenticeship. Yay $7/hr 50hrs a week, 10 of them unpaid !! fk that.

If I may ask what motor and gearbox combination are you going to run because I found a website that sells kits to make my 02M gearbox sequential...
