Just rotate them side to side, and/or flip the tires (inside outwards, assuming they're non-directional).
I suppose if your current wheels have the same offsets, then the rear hub mounting surface is 10-15mm more inboard than the front, so get 15mm lower offset for the rear wheels.

If you get different offsets front to back, it's a bit harder to rotate the tyres. just means you have to get them demounted and swapped over.

rear track is about 8-10mm narrower than the front. sometimes it seems more or less on different cars due to wear, the arches being at different widths etc etc.

Steel wheels are the only wheels that can be widened easily. One peice alloy wheels can also be done (ie it's physically possible) but I think you'd struggle to find a place that would do it.

Widening steelies is possible my machining out the centre of a steelie and placing the centre into a brand new steel barrel. the other way is banding, which involves cutting the wheel in half and adding in a section, but I dont think many places in OZ do this. not as safe or something.

or buy some 3 piece wheels and start playing with new lips and bigger barrels etc etc
