where does everyone find their Mk1's

i`m from south africa and busy tring to source ways and rules of importing them from sa old and new for they are still built up to today there will post news as i get response from various ppl

We could import pre 1989 ones if you want to pick us some good ones. I`ll buy a 1988 caddy ute from you if you can see it onto a ship for me.

Yeah if u could get me a nice one (citigolf sport or anything that is rare or unusual...pref a golf or similar) for about R26000 or less inc. import costs (im not sure how much it would cost) i would definately be interested

Are they based on the golf and do they make pretty tight vehicles?

yup they are based on the golf... so should be tight never bought here unfortunately

looking at the response thinking maybe to try source older modles than newer mods seeing 89 being the cut off year and that might be the loophole to getting some ute`s in and some mk1`s 2dr`s and 4dr`s
