Where do you guys get Mk1 parts??

Hi, ive had my Mk1 for about for about 4 months now and feel im limited on parts i can get.
i see all the amzing build threads with all the parts i can only dream about but have no idea where to start to get my hands on them.
so far my spectrum of car parts for the mk1 is limited to here and ebay....
so im curious as to where peaple pick up their parts? import? local suppliers? other forums? what am i missing?
any help would be super.
