    What's wrong with this VIN?

Hi guys trying to get a bunch of spare parts for my 1990 Mk1 Cabriolet, and the local parts shop needs the correct VIN, the one on the rego, and the compliance plate keep showing up errors on the suppliers' databases, including the local stealer, the number, according to the compliance plate is WVWZZZ15ZLK033541 Build date 07/90.

    Any ideas

    Cheers

    It certainly looks right.

Are you still chasing up coolant hoses?

Yep, still after coolant hoses, the parts guy says all the databases start with the VINs, so the suppliers cannot get into the databases without them!

    True, but there's also this:

VOLKSWAGEN GOLF CABRIOLET [GOC] (EUROPE) 1990: ENGINE: 19. COOLANT HOSES AND; PIPES; RESERVOIR

Anything with JH in the description will be relevant to your engine, as well as any that have no engine code specified.

Thanks, I'll try them again, but the parts shop does not like buying unless they are certain the parts are correct, which means they have to be certain (no returns) I got the correct parts numbers off vagcat, but they still want to check....

Last I checked, VagCat was quite out of date, so I tend not to use it.
