No takers, people don't need it today but might tomorrow however I can't hold on to it forever.
Put a Weber 32/36 on weiß today. Jetted for 1.8 on the 1.6 it's a bit rich but tapped the timing forward a bit and it goes fantastic.

Leaking coolant flange due to corrosion.
Replacement second hand one sourced.
Use coolant kids, it saves time later!
started making a lower front strut brace for my mk1 the other day. finished it off today and gave it a coat of paint. turned out pretty well i think.

replaced the clutch with the help of jace today, basically went the long away about it.. not removing the little shield thing next the drivers side drive shaft flange, putting on and removing the pressure plate at least 3 times.. only to try turn it over after 8 or so hours and get nothing.. turned out ignition wire wasnt plugged to starter solenoid. Sorted! clutch feels great now!!
Driving the coal. Low and rattly.

Today i took my Radiator out ready for the new one coming in the post, washed the dirty water out of the system and degreased most of the engine! gonna try and clean the inside of the hoses from the rusty dirt rather than buy new ones as there in good condition on the outside. Does anyone know a good way to wash the rusty scale out? i have bought a rad cleaner formula but not sure if that will do the pipes? [IMG][/IMG]
