    Heres the floor i painted.

    I replaced my door handles and hooked up the reverse lights. Trying to build up the motivation to attempt replacing outer CV boots. Baby steps.

    nice work!
    im about to finish the floor in mine with a little rust kill/rust proof action,
    probably wont look as good as that one though keep up the good stuff

    Red Golf.

    Motor out.

    Replace Steering rack Rubber mounts with urethane.

    De-grease engine bay.

    De-grease motor.

    Replace bent sump and gasket.

    Paint rocker cover - new gasket.

    Replace cam, intermediate and crank seals.

    New timing belt.

    Swap gearbox mounts and linkages onto MK3 5 speed box.

    After dinner I'll get back into it.

    kept sanding and chucked first coat of rust proof stuff in the rear,
    more of this to come over the next week haha

    Replaced rear main seal.

    Cleaned clutch assembly.

    Got new gearbox bolted up to motor.

    Cleaned and re-packed a CV ('cos I dropped it in the dirt!)

    I'll pop it all back together again tomorrow.

    fixed the door handles now they can lock.

    took of the heater fixed that aswell.

    car is ready to go......
