New 4.5" k&n pod filter added tonight.
The induction noise is deafening.
Had a rubber(?) fuel line split on me on the way to work this morning. You should have seen the puddle of fuel left on the road where I was waiting at the red light
So I pulled over, taped it up with sparkies tape and drove to autopro for some new fuel lines. So now I have replaced all the fuel lines in the engine bay with new hose and clamps.

After hearing how much of a difference it made on EndlessMk1's car, I beefed up the lower stress bar with a diagonal brace back to the rear control arm mounting points, and a bar between the 2 control arm mounting brackets.
My welder was playing up so don't look at my welds, but I can definitely say it does tighten up the front end - it feels sharper into turns and feels more solid and stable. Hardly feels like a mk1 anymore!
that looks good, might try that out in the new year!
