radiator flushed and carb issues fixed over the weekend, just needs a good wash and polish

Continued sanding back the entire cabin floor pan and firewall, killed rust spots primed with rust converter/primer... tried to wash all the dust our of my clothes *cough* !

popped some new clear indicators on.

They look wicked against white paint!

Put $25 of fuel in for the first time in 6 weeks.

Used Autoglym Paint Renovator to cut and polish some oxidised paint.... WOW!
Paint looks amazing!

Reversed most of the modifications that I have done to Hellga in preparation of her moving on.

Funny how much time things take to complete, but how little time they take to reverse.

so I can clean them up and give em a real good polish before DOVW. I never really cleaned them after I took them off my yellow, so they still got little bits of marysville all over them.

Wheels will come off probably next weekend, for the same treatment. Interior also needs work. speaking of which -

does anyone know any good products to really clean all the years of grime out of 30 year old mk 1 carpet? bar hiring a steam cleaner?
