Dash out to search for possible shorts (headlight switch blew), fixed the wiring up to make it less likely to short and more tidy (+soldered broken dash light)
Cleaned heater box out (30yrs of dead leaves!).
Tracked a water leak back to the inside passenger guard.
Glued a crack in the lower dash with some hot glue.

New tyres yesterday. Nothing too amazing; just new rubber for the stock steelies but it feels noticably better - smoother handling, braking, even accelerating, just smoother all round, and lighter steering too.
Now I think it's time to replace the worn tie rod and hopefully it will feel even better (and fingers crossed nothing else in the front needs replacing...for now).
