Wanted MK1!!

Hi there,

the girl didn't fancy the idea of my build at the start but came to me a couple days ago and asked if I can find her a running mk1 for a good price. Now, she said she is willing to pay cash +-$1000. Body doesn't have to be super clean but inside and mechanically be good.

We are in the ACT. So we wont mind going for a little drive to fetch it.

i know of a 4 door, 1.6petrol, running, pretty much rust free mk1 here in melbourne for <$500. It doesnt look pretty, but the interior is mint, car has done ~100,000 genuine kms. Its just mismatch of blue and red panels, but is solid. Would love if it was parted out but the bloke who has it wants it to go to a good, non-parting-out home. PM me.

My Mk1 GTI is running very well and the body is need of some attention. It really needs to be bought by someone with some patience and passion for the car. Obviously I'd like a bit more than $1000 but it's not every day a Mk1 GTI is available. Let me know if you'd like to check it out.
