US eBay find of the day

Anyone know anyone with an international car shipping business?

Shame about the headlights.... Yet another obscenity the US has inflicted on innocent European cars

That'll be due to Westmoreland getting their hands on it
Those side indicators do my head in more then the front end. If that mileage is correct it still needs running in and it's 25yrs old
That is a find and if I'm lucky on the lottery this weekend I'll buy it

I think its worth the money all day, as its virtually a brand new car.

The Yankee ones sure did get a hit with the ugly stick though didnt they?

Sure it's one of a kind. If i had 15k USD to spend. It wouldn't be on a stock GTI. esp, if I was buying from the US

A car is always worth what somebody is willing to pay for it.

My guess is some dealer will buy it and sit it in a showroom or it will go to a museum.

If I were to buy that I couldn't live with it being that ugly. I'd probably want to change it to regular front and bumpers, but then it wouldn't be worth as much (and it'd still be LHD). I agree, museum or collection will prob be where this car ends up.
