Why cant you put in a GTI engine??
I did a swop into a Cabrio the other day with a Pommie Spec engine.
They are out there, PM me if you like.
OOOOKKKK!!! - i'm thinking aloud here.....
As a former mk1 GTi owner, (83 Lhasha green - resprayed by me bmw/boston green) how the fu*k can i re-create that buzz? (8 years later)
I have a 93 cabbie but would love to pick the brains here about how i can re-create that "car"....
with the "clipper" you cannot drop in a GTi engine (due to the wiring loom and the fact there all in europe!! ) - so what is the best option?
Lets presume......we have all have a "project" mk1, what do we need to do to get OUR car similar?
engine....brakes?....suspension....interior...and most of all .....handeling...
FYI - My dad n bro are still in the UK so why don't we get something SORTED!! - i've got space in the UK for a motor......
If not ....what can i do to re-create that super lively engine response and feel....
thoughts please?
Gary
