I think that is my old motor. Positive in fact. I played with the cam to cam timing and apart from the annual freshen up it is stock. Lightened flywheel as well. It used to go well and Revnit is getting the use out of it.
Well done on the times too, not far off the Polo GTI times!!
I must play with the Caddys 9A I am thinking!!

yeah it is your old motor its pretty much untouched since ive got it other than burning out the dizzy its been faultless thats why i haven't fiddled with it to much new plugs and a change of oil and bang 14.4 ( not to mention the 115kg driver )

It runs well but it is getting rebuilt when the car gets painted looking to run forged pistons and a shot of nitrous unsure on what cams will work have to do some research. the paint work will be to shiny and alot$$$$$$$$$ involved to go circuit racing but ill still do some drags with it.

Answering the other question yes its a 2.0l 9a on K-Jet lighten fly, set of extractors and cold air intake, i run pretty rubbish tires nexen 205/45 R16s i run them at 30psi on the quarter mile grips up ok the clutch is a bit tricky i was going to go abit lower but didn't get alot of track time was pretty busy.
