    Thread HiJacker

For starters I think we are all Golf freaks here and if the convo is on hot Golfs for hill climbing then get on board. I certainly would not get precious about "my own thread".

Back to business Yes there will be more Flare than a 70s disco along with a front splitter. I have just been getting ready to repaint in White and have been setting up the suspension geometry with some old slicks. I will be running Avon Hill climbing slicks all round (marshmallows I call them). Time is all I need but should be ready for SA Hill Climb champs.

Cheers to all the Golf boys out there.

    JJ

I wrote a large post again to please stay on topic but it must have been deleted.... not sure why.

The reason I wanted it to stay on topic is because this project will get into full swing very shortly and I will have plently more questions to ask. I don't really want to be scrolling through numerous pages to find information I need for the build.

You clearly have an awesome car, please let us know all about...just not here!

You won't understand how frustrating it is until you yourself have a thread highjacked. Nothing more annoying IMO, because then you start a new (more personal) thread and people revert you back to the old one with "see this thread".

    See ya sportsfans

Sorry for the supposed hijack man. Really I think putting a rice rocket heart in a VW is not kosher. Do what you will. I think I must start a new thread. Good luck with your project Rhys. Feel free to check out my open thread for mad hillclimbers.

    Cheers JJ
