    not at all. i would almost go as far to say that because it eighties, it more likely to be unreliable vs 70's. Never mind that its french aswell!

    The mk1 is a very simple car. If you have a good work ethic with respect to restoration and servicing, the mk1 can be more reliable than a 2010 car easily. You have a choice of engines a mile long aswell.
