Is there a specific accelerator cable bracket for 32/36 weber?

    Guys,

    I have installed a 32/36 Weber on the 1.6 in the MK1.

I have fumbled together a bracket that is connected to the rocker cover for the accelerator cable to be secured to, but I am wondering if there is a specific bracket for the MK1, and where it might come from?

    Any information appreciated.

    Mick

Hey mate, im pretty sure there is a universal kit that fits almost perfectly for the 32/36, and from memory it cost around 30 bucks. GRN VGN (dan) uses it, and says its great.

I've had a look at a few, and some of them seam to be home made, from what ever carb they had from before. I made mine from a few honda accelerator parts, and my previous carbs, and it works perfect.

Hope tihs helps to some extent

    Yay. Thanks for that.

Unfortunately I have a DFEV 32/36 and the guys told me it won't play without some stuffing about.

All is not lost, if I spin the carby around on the manifold it might still turn out ok.

    Appreciate your help!

In news just to hand, the carby was fitted 180 degrees out on the manifold, so I'm back in the game of I get a bracket!

    Thanks again!
