Just buy the new CV's and stick em on your axles, thats all there doing in the US mate..
Had time to check them out today.
Yep, they're MK1 all right.
Checked length and fitment into early hubs, All good. 90mm inners, check.
Interestingly the new long drive shaft is solid rather than hollow like the original.
I weighed them both and the new solid one is about 1kg heavier.

Is there much advantage do you think of having the solid axle? More so out of interests sake than anything else.
