Tonight I installed my DigiFast 2 chip and took it for a good thrashing around the block.

First impressions are that the car has decreased lag, before it was almost turbo-esque, but now although the the lack of power is still there, at least it was linear.

Bit rough on idle, but still have a coolant sensor, idle control screw seals and possibly an oxy sensor for that. It was better before the chip.

    The US$50 was well spent!

It was inevitable, and it has happened now.

Need to attend to the situation whereby we have some rubbing, other than that I am pretty chuffed.

Now to fix the other list of things, and I'll be stoked.

    Ha, nice call, but no.

I have a MK2 dash, gearbox and 16V head - so will settle with that for now for mk2 bits.

I raised the suspension about 10mm on the rear also.

The night fell and I took it for a decent run, on the return after only 2 scrubs in tight bumpy corners, I am pleased. I think the car handles better than on the lower setting and older tyre/rims.

    Excuse the pics quality.

The wheels look great, cars feel so much more throwable when they're a bit higher don't they. Have you ever thought about trying the arch flares in standard satin black?
