Is there ANYTHING this man can't do uber well??? I got all motivated today after brainstorming and reading this post again. Got a Wish list in action for the Cabriolet and replaced the steering arm in the MK3. First real technical thing that I have done on my own... Amazing at the feeling after completing job. Self Satisfaction.

    Nooooooooooooooooooooo............................ .........

    Don't do it!

This may sound dumb but while this car was being built it has been an inspiration to all of us. Always looking to see what piece of artwork you have built today and marveling at your fabrication skills - dare I say the work of a mechanical artist?

When it's finished we won't be wondering what fantastic piece comes next because it will all be done. Finito. Finished. No more.

This must be what Leonardo's assistants were going through as he painted the Mona Lisa.

    Cheers

    Mate this is fantastic!!
and i agree that Acrylic is still a great paint to be using,
Ive done one in acrylic and one in 2 pac altho id be using a booth for 2k now for sure, im told even in a booth you still get
dust but probably not as much, thank God for 2ooo grit and Auto Glym for a perfect finish, anyway hope you find a good rhythm with the spraying. I havnt read thru the whole thread yet but its worth getting a coffee for and sitting down of which im looking forward to.
    All the Best mate
