    I am tempted to go satin also. I have been reading up on it a bit. Not sure if is true but people say you can't polish marks out (sort of makes sense) and that bird crap stains it....

    You'd be surprised actually! Without the gloss to blend it together, each pass doesn't flow together quite as well, so you really do need your **** together!

    If you can do it well yourself, that's several thousand dollars to spend elsewhere

    i also read from start to finish..... a lot of respect to you for the time and effort you've put into this car, not to forget the attention to detail. 3.5yrs and counting with this project.....i'm sure it will be well worth it once done.

    yer i really dont think i would be happy with a satin finish was just toying with the idea(for about a minute)

    Be careful with that - I found out the hard way that Carbon fibre is conductive! (and smells terrible when it burns)

    yer i found that out, it is interesting when the welder starts arcing through it.
    yer its a bad smell, i think it is mainly the resin melting,
