nice work man, must be so satisfying to finally fire it up after all that work. Out of interest though are you willing to share the secret of where you found that CF valve cover?
Awesome work, you must be stoked. One of he finest build threads I have followed. When will you be ready to start on my 911?
Cheers Al

By the sounds of it, your fuel pump makes more power than my 8V..
Thanks heaps guys ,
It will be for sale very shortly Al so you can sell the 911 and buy it.(or keep both me thinks)
I made all the carbon fibre bits except the front door cards , just wet lay but the results are fairly good.
Yer the lift pump is brutal , need to put another 10 odd litres of fuel in it and see what happens.
Am starting the set up procedure for the Microtech and will be adding fluids to the brake system and them hopefully getting her rolling.
The car will be on the market very shortly PM me with EOI.
Thanks for all the support and well wishes throughout what has definately been one of the biggest milestones in my life.
During the period of this build my life has been through some huge changes , the passing of my father , the birth of my 2 daughters and the moving of 3 houses ( soon to be another move in the future) not to mention rebuilding a white mk2 , Audi A3 and the Touareg and its hard to think about moving on but i really need to start a new project.
If the plan is to sell it haven't you shot yourself in the foot by making it unregisterable?
Or have you got a specific buyer lined up?![]()
Last time i saw Alex he didn't have a hole in his foot!![]()
