Have you got the fuel presure regulator set at 6psi?
Cheers mate, ive checked timing 100 times but i dunno how to get the teeth 100% right on the cam as all it says its the mark has to line up with the rocker cover.
Its a hydraulic head off a mk2 gti, ill check the valves if it doesnt drive tomorrow.
If it drives ok then i will take it to a pro next week and get it all done properly, im sick of pretending like i know what im doing.
Any recomendations?

Also needle and seat? Main jet blocked?
When comes off chock there is a blockage?
yeah i got a 1.8L from a mk3. the timing for cam is a bit easier as it has a arrow on a plastic bit to line up with
Not sure whats wrong, mine was same cold or hot..
<space for rent>
Was told i dont need a FPR, i was also told the carbie was fine. Im not using the choke because when i did it got hot and at one point melted a bit.
Also forgot to mention that it runs the same hot or cold now.
At the moment i just want to get it to the show, after that im giving it to a pro because im done stuffing around with it. It was ok giving it a go and learning a few things along the way but its getting to the point where i dont have the time and pacients as well as the knowledge. I also need a car to drive around as dads merc needs work so we are sharing the polo.

That's awesome, but does it help your car go broom-broom?
hey dude in regards to the pump im guessing its possible to do a similar mounting with the original cordoba style pumps??? mines just the square type at least i think it was the factory one. Was thinking about mounting mine on the underside towards the front but that pic makes me think the back perhaps.
