4 hours up, 2 hours back. Shouldn't be any problems (but carry a tool kit, fan belt, spare plugs, dizzy cap, radiator repair kit and lots of Wagon Wheels or Tim Tams).

Can't do a long drive without chocky biscuits.

And congrats on the find. 16v in a MK1 is such a sweet ride.

Around 15/40 or 20/50 would be fine.

NGK BK7EKU Spark Plugs. Not easy to find, but let me know if you need some. I have a new set on the shelf.

Let me know if you need more info dude.

Nahhhhh, just joking. You should be able to fix anything on a MK1 with chewing gum, bailing wire, 100mph tape and a swiss army knife.

    20W50 is what you want.

Make sure the oil to water cooler is not leaking internally. I am not sure how often Frank has run this car but the cooler ended up leaking some time ago ( water in the oil etc) From memory Frank changed the cooler and flushed the engine oilways and cooling system.

As long as the basics are right you will get home fine.

Engine pic of car.. Taken in Dec 2007

    Lots of MK 1 Scirocco's...

If it aint a MK 1 then it must be a donor car ??

    Cheers,
    Grant...
