So the golf was running a bit shi**y

And i was having a look over it took the oil cap off and theres a white cheese.
Headkgasket im thinking not overly happy with this !!! How hard are they to do
being single cam easy i assume ? Is there a gasket and valve kit i can get ?
    Any help will be appreciated,
    Julian

headgasket is pretty simple, just lining up the cam belt is the important part.

I wouldn't go near the stuff.

I just had to replace every part of the cooling system on a B1 Passat because someone had used 'miracle cure' to stop a radiator leak.

All the hoses were crunchy and the water pump was stuffed!

Call Tooleys Imports in Hornsby NSW and they will sort you out.

I have !! It worked great.
My old Mk2 had that stuff in there, it is still running AFAIK

If you are confident to replace HG go for it, otherwise at worst you won't lose much money if this product doesn't work for you.
