good to see you're still tinkering when time permits.
Will be good to see you on a cruise once she's all up and running.
Good luck with the wedding too.
Hey guys, I have been so slack lately with my mk1, becoming engaged and saving for a wedding had put the car on the the backburner. I have been saving up slowly and buying bits and pieces here and there, just need to get a clutch and find the time to get it all in.
My parts as follows:
a new smoke free 1600
extractors
5 speed gearbox to replace that shockin 4 speed
new CV boots
new dash loom
It wont be the fastest/flashest mk1 out there, but who needs speed when you've got this much style
Took it out for a spin yesterday just to get things moving again (motor in it has blown headgasket and i think stuffed rings), still turned heads with a coat of dust
Sorry for the semi-pointless post, just getting so excited at the prospect of havin it back on the road that i had to tell you guys![]()
