    the slowest mk1 build ever....

Selling my corrado due to licence difficulties... and returning to my old mk1 golf 3 dr tin top purely for use as a trackcar in the interim removing the old 1.8 modified KR and using my old A4 20vT engine as a base. Big progress pics as and when wheels and car sell and funds free up but free mods from now till then

ill sell it to anyone with real money lol,the engine from my old audi has been lying split for 2 years now so needs the bores sorted and the head rebuilt and thats where all the corrado cash is going. Selling off all my wheels over 15" to pay for stuff like new arches etc

threads are useless without pictures I guess....bought this car for my sister as a 17th birthday present nearly 5 years ago, cheap but high mileage(198,000miles) 1.1(fitted with a 1.3 carb)

checking the history that came with it when the 1.3 went in so did a set of rev counter clocks.....car had 44,000miles previously and jumped to 195k!!!

gave it a good clean then put some -50mm springs and shocks on it and a set of wheels for her

then she decided she'd rather have a polo

seeing as it was now mine bought some coils and fitted them

lost fourth gear in the og box and the 5 speed box I found for it came attatched to a polo gt engine digifant, multi point, cam, ported four branch wouldve been rude not too added gti fronts and a full stainless

and chanced across a set of OZ executives

which I refurbed and made wider

    close up of wheels

polo gt distributor died so decided to fit the engine from my jetta as it was unsuited to the 16vT route I was planning

    bigger brakes(285 black diamonds/pads)for the new engine(its ported and polished,cammed,lightened and balanced,four branched,2.5" jetex rally system,WUR mod)

    in

    wrapped

    bought more wheels

    cleaned them

    fitted them
