    Got heaps of those lights if you need...

    Car looks nice and yes those dealer fitted 70s aircon units are ugly as.....

    Thanks for the link but it was driving me mental as it kept falling out so I bought a brand new one yesterday on the way home from work ... $35 ouch!
    Looks good though

    Good news today - passed the blue slip. Got plates on order - MK 01 VW

    Still after a dash mat.

    congrats on the purchase, Im really glad it went to a VW enthusiast who will look after it!

    I also have a spare dash mat, will bring it up to Nats if you are interested and you can have it!

    mk1 dashmats can be purchased from super cheap (you just have to order it in).

    you're probably already aware of Ben Dury Automotive in newcastle (actually in teralba). he does good work on vw's and is a good guy - for sorting out other issues that you don't want to do yourself.

    Thanks guys. I know of Ben Durie but I go to either Neymeyers at Belmont North for my early VW stuff and J & W at Elermore Vale for my later VW stuff. I didnt realise you could still get them brand new but I have accepted RedMk2GTi's offer to buy his.

    Fingers crossed the RTA has been quick in making my plates and they will be there Friday for rego day.
