P.S - Is it just me or does the grille on the latest Citi golf look slightly different? Looks to be on a different angle..

According to the article, 25 years since the intro of Mk2 in '84 and the decision to keep producing Mk1's in Sth Efrica, man.
Sigh .... sheds a tear .... its actually been 31yrs of production at Uitenhage in South Africa ... 25yrs as the Citi Golf and 6yrs as the original Mk1 ..... its a sad day indeed ....
My family has had 4 mk1 golfs and about 10 Citi's all up ...... I'll go and have a quiet moment outside now ....
