Thread: She doesn't turn off.

    She doesn't turn off.

Sad times have struck. With my antenna wire earthing out onto the body and melting my fuse board essentially... Now I've got most things back and running now! Slight mishaps with high beams deciding to stay on for the most part of the time. However I just can't turn the old girl off!!! I've got the how to keep your rabbit book alive and it doesn't quite cover this sort of situation so if anybody can think of something it may be, or a solution that doesn't involve disconnecting the battery terminal every time that'd be great! Thanks all.

Sounds like the +ve lead on the distributor is always live. Follow the wire back to the fusebox and connect it to a terminal that only has power when the ignition is on.

Let us know how you go.

    Cheers

Turns out that when I take fuse number 9 out it stops. This is for my horn. I don't know what this is all about but at least it all works again I guess!
