Great concept for drifting if you are into it

Don't know If can be bothered reading page upon page of the build but i wonder what transaxle they used. I would love a rear drive caddy with an R32 supercharged motor mounted N-S and a 944S2 rear transaxle to get excellent weight distribution. My only concern would be loosing the functionality of the tray. After all it is a ute and needs to be used

Reeeeealy don't know why he didn't go with an Audi 5cyl Turbo ?!!
Personaly im not a fan of the vw hybrid theme going around.
All of the drift world has seen toyota engines but many would not know how Mental one of those
audi 5Cyl Monsters are I suppose its easier to work with Toyota as its so common...
still looks like a great project tho and niiiice paint!!
Is it just me... do people out their seem feel that if your building a drift car its got more drift "Soul" in it if it
    has a japanese heart...? haha

If its true that you need a high revving japanese petrol engine to have drift soul, I guess this guy must upset of a lot of peeps - one of my favorites ever:

Anyway, yes, plenty of good german engines to drift with..... I guess price might come into it though, since the 1JZ is just so accessible and cheap.

Looking through that build -there's not a lot of Caddy left other than the outer panels, which are very modified themselves.
