    rod from booster

    can anyone tell me when the master cyl is removed how far does the push rod protrude when the brake peddle is fully depressed. i measured 18mm but i think i should have more
    owned a number of mk1 golfs have a collection of spare parts project golf is a 78 2 door

    i found a wreck took the master cyl off and answered my Q? thought id post it incase anyone else has the same problem.

    its 32mm
    owned a number of mk1 golfs have a collection of spare parts project golf is a 78 2 door
