    Removing front fenders

    just wondering if anyone could help me out by telling me how to remove my front fenders on my Mk1 ?
    i can only seem to get to the bolts under the bonnet and underneath but not to the ones sort of under the doors.

    Welcome to the forum slamdmk1.
    You need to pst up some pics of the ride.

    The ones under the back of the guard's (At the A-Pillar) that have never been touched if the guard has never been removed before have a stoneguard/seamsealer compound covering them.

    That and the guard has been seam sealed to the A-Pillar as well.

    Either that or there's a build up of two decades of buildup.

    Yeah welcome slamd

    Take of the inner guard cover if there is one.

    Dig the goo off the 3 bolts along the door frame, get a 10mm socket on there and undo em.

    If you have undone all the other jiggle the guard up and down to loosten the rest of the goo. A hot day helps.
