    You use long threads like that so you can change the track width (with spacers). Common in motorsport.

    Or the shaved body line... didn't notice it at first.
    The flares seem unnecessary considering he'd have spacers on there by the looks of it.

    Kind of looks like it has wheel studs with anodized aluminium wheel nuts..

    It really does nothing for me. But it doesn't have to- Not my car.
