Needs to be smaller wheels with more tyre and lower.
On a mk1 you'd want 13 inch steelies with standard profile tyres, white walls and 13 inch moon discs. Make it nice and low (not crazy, just fill some of that gap..). Then it will look good, trust me. :)

I posted that up for Mark more so because of the theme, not because of how it's been done. As Preeny's pointed out, needs more low and probably smaller rims to look decent.
Yeah well it was hammering down rain here today, and about 12˚C too, so there's nothing better to do!
