Have you run ur fingers around the pipes to see which is leaking? Its easy to tell as your finger will get wet.
Once you know which it is you can go about fixing it.
You can go to your local speed shop and buy a new hose and clamp. You could use the old clamp, which is what holds the hose onto the pipe, but the ones you have are the old type which require pliers to get them on and off and cant be tightened. Get some of these clamps.

those hoses are prone to hernias mainly due to the steel water pipe rusting. just remove that crummy spring retainer and get a worm drive hose clamp on there aftter you have cleaned the end of the pipe and should be good

Its ok to drive as long as its not leaking enough to run the radiator dry... if its only leaking a little.. like a few drops every now and then, it will be fine to drive.. just check the radiator water in the morning or nite....

The clips can be bought from any car shop like autobahn, repco... just get them to look at the old clips so they know what size.

Its hard to tell which hose it is... especially as I dont own a mk2 gti ..... looks like it might be going into the water pump as its infront of the block.
It really doesnt matter what hose anyway, Just take the hose off and give it to the person behind the counter at your local car shop, he will match it up and sell you a new one... or you could just get one of those clamps and tie it up tight.... might not need a new pipe.

    Good luck

that hose is hardish to find it goes from big to small off the side of the waterpump to the cast pipe
