I'll make you a deal... when you paint your car I'll paint mine
I wish I could say I've torn down my engine like that, would love to give the bay a proper go-over.
Good work n that.

not much has happened,
mainly just tidying things up, lining up doors so they open close freely ect.
Tried to freshen up paint with a polish, but its pretty gone. Looks 100% better then before though.
Going to get a spray can or 2 made up in mars red so i can touch up some spots, as i dont plan on respraying it anytime soon.
Did get a tyre mounted to the rear rim, 185/65/R13, having hard time finding a second one
Hoping to get engine in soon, need to source a few bits, clean the box up a bit. (4 speed till i can get a 5)
plans are to having it running in January,

Everybody secretly loves a slightly ratty MK1
You've done well with a polisher (I hope) to bring it back to that.
MK2 - *Insert list of dealer purchased extra's/standard features here*
80 series - The MK2's BIG, Sooty, polar opposite...
HAHAHA
cut polish for older paints without clearcoat.
Was done by hand, could probably be better with a electric polisher, but i doubt its worth the effort to be honest.
Looks better slightly ratty and tatty, gotta buy some clips for the waist trim, get them painted black and put back on![]()
